The 10-inch chef knife blade is forged from high-performance 1.4116 stainless steel, a widely used alloy in professional cutlery due to its combination of carbon, chromium, and molybdenum. Carbon ensures a fine and durable structure, essential for edge retention. Chromium increases corrosion resistance, while molybdenum enhances thermal stability and wear resistance. The blade undergoes controlled heat treatment to achieve a hardness of 56–58 HRC, allowing precise sharpening and consistent cutting. Its 2.2 mm thickness provides an ideal balance between rigidity and flexibility, ensuring precision without compromising structural strength.

The handle is crafted from natural ebony, a highly dense and stable wood resistant to moisture variation. Its low absorption rate prevents warping over prolonged use. Ebony also has natural anti-adhesive and bacteriostatic properties, making it suitable for intensive kitchen use. The ergonomic shape enhances grip comfort and reduces fatigue during extended cutting, providing full control to the user.
