Premium 8" Chef Knife in Damascus Steel with Pakka Wood Handle – Sharp, Durable, and Elegant
This knife was designed to deliver superior performance, combining high-performance metallurgy with refined aesthetics. The blade features a 10Cr15CoMoV steel core, clad in 66 alternating layers of stainless Damascus steel, for a total of 67 layers. The hard, edge-retentive core is reinforced by 316L stainless cladding, providing excellent corrosion resistance.
The layered structure ensures stability, durability, and precise cutting. Heat treatment optimizes hardness to 60 ±2 HRC, balancing wear resistance with fine sharpening capability. The edge is hand-polished at a 15° angle per side, enabling clean, consistent cuts through both soft and fibrous foods.
The handle is crafted from stabilized Pakka Wood, a composite of natural wood and thermosetting resin pressed under high pressure. This results in moisture resistance, dimensional stability, and lasting comfort in hand. Its ambidextrous geometry offers secure grip and ergonomic control, even during extended use.
