The blade core is crafted from 10Cr15CoMoV powder steel, a high-performance alloy containing 0.95%–1.05% carbon for maximum hardness and edge retention. Chromium (14.5%–15.5%) ensures outstanding resistance to corrosion and wear, while molybdenum and cobalt enhance the blade’s thermal and mechanical stability. The addition of cobalt is rare, offering superior rust resistance and extended durability. The 73 outer layers of Damascus steel are forged from different grades of stainless steel, carefully combined to deliver a blade that is strong, flexible, and visually striking. This composition guarantees a razor-sharp edge, excellent corrosion resistance, long-lasting durability, and a distinctive aesthetic.
