Welcome to FireForge Knives. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at fireforgeknives.com and all associated services (the "Services"). The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to FireForge Knives, the operator of this website.

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

1. Age Restriction and Eligibility

Because we sell premium kitchen knives and bladed tools, all purchases are strictly restricted to customers aged 18 years or over, in accordance with the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 and UK Policing and Crime Act 2017.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You are legally permitted to purchase bladed products in your jurisdiction
  • You will not purchase our products on behalf of anyone under 18
  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful

We operate an age verification process at checkout. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order where we cannot verify the purchaser's age.

2. Account and Personal Information

To place an order, you may be required to provide personal information including your name, email address, billing address, payment details, and delivery information. You warrant that all information provided is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for:

3. Products and Descriptions

We make every effort to accurately describe and represent our products. However:

  • Colours and appearance may vary slightly due to your device display settings
  • Product descriptions and specifications may be updated without prior notice
  • We reserve the right to discontinue any product or limit quantities at any time

All our products are supplied as described and are intended for lawful culinary use only.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is only accepted once we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including where:

  • A product is out of stock or mispriced
  • We are unable to verify your age or payment details
  • The order appears to be for commercial resale

Orders are intended for personal use only and must not be resold or exported in breach of applicable law.

5. Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without providing a reason.

To cancel, notify us in writing at support@fireforgeknives.com within this period. You then have a further 14 days to return the item. For full details, please refer to our Return and Refund Policy.

6. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

You agree to provide accurate and current payment information. By submitting payment, you confirm you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Import duties, customs charges, and taxes for deliveries outside the UK are the responsibility of the recipient.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery of the goods to your address, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs processes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

8. Product Quality and Your Statutory Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all products we sell must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • As described

If your product does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These statutory rights are not affected by any other provision of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under UK consumer protection law.

If a product is found to be defective within 6 years of purchase (5 years in Scotland), you may have a claim under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FireForge Knives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services or products.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of the order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, designs, and trademarks, is the property of FireForge Knives or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Infringing intellectual property rights
  • Attempting to purchase products if under 18 or on behalf of a minor

  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems

13. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly. If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@fireforgeknives.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 14 business days.

If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may refer it to an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. We will provide details of available ADR schemes upon request, in accordance with the Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes Regulations 2015.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable local law.

16. Feedback and Reviews

By submitting feedback, reviews, or other content to us, you grant FireForge Knives a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with our Services. Submitted content must not violate the rights of any third party or any applicable law.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
