This 210 mm chef’s knife is designed as a reliable, all-purpose kitchen tool for consistent daily preparation. Engineering and Materials

At the core of the blade is 10Cr15CoMoV stainless steel, heat treated to a hardness of 60–62 HRC. This alloy is widely used in premium kitchen cutlery for its balanced composition, offering dependable edge retention, strong corrosion resistance, and controlled sharpening behaviour.

The core is clad with 66 layers of stainless steel, forming a 67-layer Damascus construction. These outer layers reinforce structural stability and protect the cutting core during prolonged use, while also providing a restrained Damascus pattern that reflects the laminated build rather than decorative intent.

With a blade thickness of 2.2 mm, the knife maintains sufficient rigidity for controlled cutting without unnecessary weight.

Manufacturing and Process

The blade undergoes controlled heat treatment to ensure uniform hardness distribution and dimensional stability. Final grinding establishes a symmetrical 15° edge angle per side, delivering clean cuts, predictable feedback, and straightforward resharpening over time.

The blade surface is finished to a clean, refined texture that balances durability with smooth food contact during preparation.
