Designed for precision cutting, the blade of this 7-inch Santoku knife is forged from German stainless steel DIN 1.4116 — an alloy renowned for its structural stability, corrosion resistance, and excellent edge retention. Its composition includes chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), and vanadium (V), elements that enhance durability, wear resistance, and ease of sharpening.

The applied heat treatment ensures a hardness of around 56 HRC, striking the ideal balance between edge strength and impact resistance for continuous use. With a 2.2 mm thick blade, it provides rigidity for firm cuts while maintaining lightness and smooth motion.

The handle is crafted from Pakka wood — a composite material made by compressing layers of natural wood impregnated with phenolic resin under high pressure. This structure ensures superior stability, moisture resistance, and long-lasting durability, even in changing temperature environments. Its ergonomic design provides excellent control and comfort during extended food preparation sessions.
